A few months ago, I found a great deal for business class flights to London from Geneva. This special offer was to celebrate Valentine's day (40% off two people travelling in business class). The flights were just about the same price with a stop in Zurich as direct flights. Swiss has 3 lounges available to business class passengers travelling through Zurich airport, so why not go in two lounges for the price of 1, in addition to 2 business class flights instead of just one. Here is my review of the first lounge I visited.

All other lounges at Geneva (British Airways, AirFrance-KLM, dnata...) are also located on this level. The Swiss Business lounge is at the end of a corridor past the Swiss First/Senator lounge. The lounge is open Monday to Sunday from 05:30 to 21:30.

Seating + Amenities
As I entered the lounge, I sat down in the food part of the lounge. The lounge also features a quiet area behind a stone wall. You will find power outlets and USB ports at every seat (hint: in the restaurant area, they are hidden within the seat). The paintings in the lounge showcase a handful of planes from the Swiss fleet including the A220 and 777. Several different magazines and newspapers are available to read (fashion magazines, travel guides...). The design of the lounge is quite smart and spacious. During my 3 hour stay, the lounge remained completely silent. An immense wardrobe full of coat racks was present in the center of the lounge. Unfortunately, there's no apron view. The complimentary wifi in the lounge was very fast.

Food
The food displayed in the lounge ranged from hot spinach & salmon lasagna to apple tart without forgetting the cold sandwiches... You can also take a few Swiss chocolates from the lounge entrance! (see photos and captions for full list of food on offer).

As for beverages, the extensive list includes (wine, champagne, beer, juice, fizzy drinks,water...). You may be wondering, where are the hot drinks in this list? Well, the coffee machine was broken. Different members of staff tried to fix it, but when it was time for me to leave the lounge, the coffee machine remained out of order. Swiss instead provided a flask full of coffee and a flask full of hot water.

Staff + cleanliness
The lounge was really clean the whole duration of my stay there, although, staff took a long time to clear leftover plates from empty tables. The staff brought out different/new food items on a regular basis. The reception staff members were quite helpful, informing on delays and gate info.

Final thoughts
Overall, apart from the cold lasagna and the out of order coffee machine, I had a very positive lounge experience. It's much better than hanging around at the Montreux Jazz Cafe in Geneva Airport which will set you back more than 7CHF just for a yoghurt! If travelling business class with Swiss through Geneva again, I would definitely leave enough time to relax in this lounge.
